Inspiring and joyful outdoor music camps for children and young people across the UK

A beautiful setting…

Outdoor music-making in the countryside; delicious, healthy food; fantastic level of care; forest adventures; campfires and ceilidhs.

More than just a music course

Young musicians make new friends outside of school and family, and discover an exciting way to approach ensembles - developing rich musical and social skills

Grow in confidence

Every musician is encouraged to feel proud of who they are and what they can do. Our PFMC ethos injects spirit, joy and rhythm into everything we play!

PFMC is so child friendly and such an enjoyable experience. Everyone got to play in different styles, and experience so much music, without it feeling regimented. The enthusiasm of the teachers was amazing... it would be hard to find a course which has got the balance as well as Priory Farm has.

I think being with your staff and with the other children, both young and old at varying degrees of skill was perfect for him. He is interested in going for his grades now, he wants to do more violin for fun, and he would love to come back next summer. He hasn’t stopped talking about it… I always tell other parents about it. It was a magical place. The work you do there with the kids is so impressive and important. I can’t say enough good things about it. You left a lasting impression on my boys.

Thank you so much for organising such a wonderfully inspirational week for the children. It is more than exploring music, as you are fully aware - for Lia, as I think it is for most of the children, the week is some sort of rite of passage, an experience which works on so many different levels, for a very long time.

It feels like a real privilege to have our children involved so thank you & your team very much for letting them come on it & for giving them such a wonderful & memorable experience. The concert was absolutely fabulous. It was really moving, the whole thing.

Thank you so much for another wonderful week at Priory Farm. Freddie quite literally did not stop talking from the moment we left until we got home, two and half hours later, telling us every detail of his week. I know he was a bit wobbly at the beginning of the week but he clearly loved it all. I have had about 20 renditions of ‘Happy’ on the drums today! You put so much thought and energy into organising such a wonderful experience for our children. It really is such a special event that creates happy memories – you only have to look at how many ex-priory farmers wanted to come back yesterday to know how much it has meant to them.

My husband said Joy was chatting about music camp and singing all the way to the airport and as soon as she arrived Joy has been telling all my family and her cousins here in Thailand about PFMC!!!

Thank you all so much! My girls had such an amazing time and were so sad to leave! They are already begging to come again next year, and I've had them singing ALL the way home (4.5 hours!)

Thank you so much for a brilliant week. At Priory Farm, children and parents are included in a wonderful family, and it will be so good to see you carrying that energy and emotion forward into your new venue. Have a good year and hopefully see you again next year. PS Sylvie is asking whether along with the increasing capacity for children, you might be able to extend the age range so that she can come to camp. Every year. Forever Xxxxx

Thank you so much for such a fantastic week. Amelia has had a fabulous time. Your energy, enthusiasm and positivity was endless and contagious. She loved her ensemble group and has made lots of lovely new friends. She has returned home full of chatter and enthusiasm. Thank you for welcoming her so warmly. She has gone to bed a very happy girl and singing! You even got her eating peas and lettuce every day! Here’s hoping she can join you all again next year.
