RESIDENTIAL CAMP FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS (8-12 YEARS)
27 July - 2 August 2025
We are an outdoor music camp, offering adventurous activities alongside specialist tuition in strings, brass, wind, & percussion with opportunities for guitar and keyboards too. Join the rhythm section in the jazz band tent, play in a wind, brass or string ensemble in the bothy or the barn, and be part of the stirring sounds of the PFMC choir and orchestra in a wild, walled garden. Hot showers and toilet facilities are on site, along with a kind and caring pastoral team, 24/7.

What Is It?
PFMC offers your children a chance to connect with others, get outside (and stay there!), be independent but safe, and have a completely screen free week. Children will camp in tents with each other, (tents are provided if you don’t have one) and spend much of their time outdoors, playing music and having fun with new friends.
Our small size and friendly setting enable us to encourage musical development in each child, through orchestral and ensemble playing with the help of specialist instrumental coaching.
Where Is It?
Just south of Darlington on the River Tees, PFMC takes place in a huge walled garden, surrounded by private parkland, woodland and river banks, all of which we will make the most of during the week. The site as a whole is owned and hosted by the wonderfully inspirational and resourceful Clarey and Barney, of www.we-are-wild.co.uk
The nearest train station is Darlington. and many of our campers come by train whether from the North or the South!
